Once you have found a good church, stay there and refrain from listening to a lot of different doctrines. Get involved in the church that God directs you to join.
In addition to finding a good church home, we also encourage you to develop your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This is done through reading Scriptures and consistent prayer. Prayer is simply talking with God. It is openly and honestly sharing with God-Confession. Prayer also involves expressing gratitude and thanksgiving for His goodness-Thanksgiving and Prayer.
The Word of God tells us to have the “mind” of Christ (Philippians 2:5). We pray that the eyes of your understanding will be opened and that God will reveal truth to your inner man. We encourage you to study God’s Word daily. Start with reading the Gospels. The Gospels will tell you about the life of Jesus Christ. As you read God’s Word, as Him to give you understanding.
Here are several guidelines to assist you in identifying a good Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church.
We trust that you will find a good church home soon.

What to Look For In Finding the Right Church
For a believer, church membership is not an option (Hebrews 10:19-25).
All believers should belong to and be involved in a good local church.
1. PUNCTUALITY - Do the services and other activities begin as posted?
2. PROVISIONS - Are the needs of the church being met scripturally?
3. PIETY - Do the Pastors and leaders possess unquestionable character traits?
Is the Pastor’s lifestyle holy?
Is the Pastor’s family life together?
4. POLITY - Are the rules, regulations and guidelines of the church scripturally based?
All churches should be governed by the Word of God.
5. PROCLAMATION - Are the teaching based on the Word of God?
(a) Is Jesus taught as God? (Jesus is Lord!),
(b) Is there boldness in the proclamation of the Gospel?
(d) Does leadership show forth love unconditionally?
(c) Is the truth being taught?
6. PROGRAMS - Are the programs in the church scripturally based or motivated by finances?
Is the Pastor’s concern for the welfare of the flock or for self?
7. POWER - Are there life-changing testimonies by those who are members?
Is the power of the Word of God manifested by those who are members?
8. PURPOSE - Does the Pastor have a vision for the church?
9. POSSESSION - Do member use their own Bibles?
10. PRESENCE - Are mid-week services well attended?
